| The
Director of Education and the Education Committee act as
the liaison between the Board of Directors and the
organized educational programs sponsored by the
congregation. Our Religious School, Nursery School and
Adult Education program-under the very capable
Directorships of Marcia Geringer, Bernadette Stak and
Rabbi Sommer - continually maintain
high quality, innovative and financially competitive
programs. Our Religious School serves 180 children in
grades K-9 with a faculty of 13 full-time and 3
part-time staff. Our Nursery school serves 75 children
ages 2-5 with a staff of 12. The Nursery School also
offers a 3 week Summer Camp. The Adult Education program
offers a wide variety of classes and opportunities for
study and draws its participants from the congregation
and local community.

*Reinstituting the Torah
Tots program for children 3-5
*Coordinating the TBT
Family Tree project in conjunction with the 350th
Anniversary of Jew in America program
*Incorporating
TBT’s Librarian into Religious School curriculum
