Overdue/Lost Items Policy
--Library materials
(with the exception of Reference titles)
will be available for loan for two
(2) weeks.
--Materials can be
renewed for an additional two (2)-week
period.
--If items are not
returned within two (2) weeks of their
due date, congregant (or his/her parent
or guardian if the borrower is a child)
will be sent an overdue notice.
--If items are not
returned within four (4) weeks of due
date, a letter will be sent to the
congregant informing the congregant that
his/her borrowing privileges will be
suspended until all overdue items are
returned or paid for if lost.
--If any items
are not returned by six (6) weeks after
their due date, congregant will be sent
a letter explaining that he/she will be
billed
for replacement costs
plus a $5.00 processing fee per item.
The bill will go out with the letter or
shortly thereafter.
--If after paying for
lost material, the material is found,
the congregant may contact the librarian
to determine appropriate action. |
