Temple Beth Tikvah's
Nursery School

... is a Jewish nursery school open to children of all faiths. TBT Nursery School offers a high quality, personalized approach to pre-school education.  Jewish traditions are appropriately interwoven into the framework of a non-competitive environment, enriching the entire scope of each child's experience.

Programs offered include parent-child, three-year-old, four-year-old, and pre-kindergarten.  The school provides an Extended Day option, Parent and family nights, music, creative movement and storytelling programs. An Arts Enrichment program for three and four year olds provides new and different adventures and experiences. The nursery school is open to the public.

New Offering for 4 Year Olds!– A five morning program for students who are 4 years old.  Students will enjoy the same developmentally appropriate program that we have always offered, but with added time available.  We follow NAEYC guidelines to insure that our students receive the best preschool experience possible preparing them to succeed in their kindergarten year and beyond.
Parent/Child– Parents attend class with their child. A facilitator leads child development discussion among parents, while children paint sing or play with teachers. This program has an emphasis on readiness for nursery school the following year
Three and four- year old Programs – A developmentally appropriate curriculum with a daily schedule that includes art, block building, stories, snack and gross-motor activities. There is ample time provided for socializing and group interactions.
Pre-K – The goals of our Pre-K are to prepare the older four-year old for kindergarten by helping them develop socially and academically. Activities include an emphasis on strengthening small motor skills, letter and number recognition, and group interaction skills. This approach enables a child to leave the pre-kindergarten program with strong sense of self and the confidence to begin kindergarten.

TBTNS’s Policies

We have assembled the most requested policies and placed them in a parents handbook.  This is a great resource for the student’s parents to learn how we handle situations such as:
Nut Allergies      •Snow days
Discipline           •Health issues

TBTNS’s Admissions Timeline

- Children must be 3 years old by the end of the year

- temple members and currently enrolled students are offered priority registration during the previous December
