Why Is the Shoreline Women’s Seder Different from All
Other Seders?
Because the Shoreline Women’s Seder is catered, so the
women who traditionally work so hard to make home Seders
the beautiful events they are will get to sit and enjoy!
Please join us Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 4:00 pm
for a Women’s Seder to be held at Temple Beth Tikvah in
Madison.
A warm welcome is extended to Jewish women from the
shoreline and Greater New Haven including mothers,
daughters, sisters, grandmothers and friends. You don’t
need be a temple member to attend.
Experience the festival of freedom and renewal through the voices
of women.
A special Haggadah highlighting women’s roles in the
Passover story will be used by
Rabbi Amanda Brodie, Head of Ezra Academy, and Cantor
Dorothy Goldberg of Temple Beth Tikvah. All attendees
share in readings and song. Beautiful hand-painted
Miriam's cups are raffled.
The cost is $50 per person, and attendance is limited. Suggested
minimum age for young girls is 10 years. The Shoreline
Women’s Seder is sponsored
by the Women of Vision Society of the Jewish Foundation
of Greater New Haven, A Woman’s Journey and Temple Beth
Tikvah Women of Reform Judaism.
